2. The school is Anderson High School.

Magazine Cover Peer Review
Hannah's Blog
1. The name of the magazine I looked at is called "The Sibling" and Hannah Erington made it.
2. I like the photo she used for the cover of her magazine and how creative the theme of the magazine is.
3. To improve the cover I would add different color text so that it pops out more. I would probably add yellow or white like the boy's shirt.
4. I picked this cover because I like how creative the whole idea is. Also, the colors in the photo attracted my eyes.
5. Yes, there is a bar code on the left hand side.
6. Yes, the bar code made the cover more "magazine-like".
7. It's a portrait because she took a photo of someone else in a posed position.
Peer Review
Skyler's Blog
1. My favorite photo is the photo of the trees because I like how it's in black and white. I also think that it was very creative to take a picture of the branches for "connected".
2. My least favorite image is the photo of the table because it isn't as interesting as the other photos. However, I did like the angle she took the photo.
3. Overall I think that her pictures are great and they correspond to the prompt.
4. I think Skyler's photos are really good but can improve on getting out of her comfort zone and trying something different and new.
5. Skyler did the best portraying "connected" because it's unique.

Model Posing Website
On this website I looked at how models pose for the camera. I also looked at where the photographer placed them and what viewpoint he used to take the photo.
a. In the video I saw a model taking photos in different places.
b. James Conran made the video and the photographer was Eric Cheng.
c. The video was made to help people who want to become a model get a better look into how models work in front of the camera. Also, to show different poses.
d. I learned that the models have to constantly be moving and changing poses.
The Oldest Living Things In The World Website

On this website I looked at the oldest living things in different parts of the world. I also looked at how the photographer took the photo and the rules of photography that were used for each one.
I learned that Rachel Susan approaches her subjects as individuals that she's taking a portrait of to create an anthropomorphic connection.
a. I picked this photo because I love how the blue water stands out.
b. The rules of photography I see in this photos are leading lines and depth.
c. Rachel Sussman is the photographer.
Great Portraits Website
On the website I looked at pictures before and after they were edited. I also looked at all the different tips on how to create great portraits.
a. I learned tilting the horizon line can add tension to your image.
b. I can use these tips in your class by using them to take photos and edit them.
c. No this didn't increase my knowledge on Adobe computer programs but it increased by knowledge on editing and breaking the rules of photography.
Killer Time Lapse Website
On this website I looked at an interesting time lapse video of Rio de Janeiro. I also looked at the different viewpoints the photographer used throughout the video.
a. In the video I saw how Rio changes throughout the day.
b. Joe Capra made the video.
c. The video was made to show people what makes a great time-lapse video.
d. I learned that to get about 10 seconds of a video, you need 240 individual photos.

I learned that there are a lot of rules of photography in landscape images.
a. I picked this photo because the lighting is very interesting and I love how the motion of the waves is stopped where they are.

Reflecting Back on 2014

1. The best song of 2014, in my opinion, is "Lay Me Down" by Sam Smith. I think that this song is the best song of last year because Sam Smith has a great voice. Also, its a very popular song and the lyrics are very well written. This song along with all of the other Sam Smith songs are amazing as well. I think that Sam Smith is a great singer/songwriter in general.
2. In my opinion, the best movie of 2014 is "Frozen". I especially love the message this movie sends to young girls. Also, all of the songs are very catchy and popular and fun to sing along too. The movie is also very creative and entertaining.
3. I think that Isis is the most important news of 2014. This news is the most important because of how serious it is. Also, I believe that we have to do something about it and make more people aware of it.
4. President Barack Obama is the most important person of 2014 for many reasons. He fives messages of hope, freedom, and opportunity. Mr. Obama has done a lot for our country this past year. He is doing a lot to try to make our country better. For example, he's trying to end the war in Iraq.
5. In my opinion, The World Cup was the biggest sports entertainment of 2014 because I enjoy watching it. Soccer is a very popular sport and I love watching all the action. Also, some of the "underdog" teams did very well in 2014 so it was very interesting too watch.
1. Something that I will remember from this winter break is my birthday party because I turned 15 and all my friend came. It was really fun!
2. Some of my new year resolutions are too not be too stressed out, be more on time, and always keep improving at dance.
3. I am most looking forward to this summer and just getting a fresh start.
