My favorite photo from the Academic and Community section is the photo titled, "Drop the Bass". The girl in this photo is wearing safety glasses and conducting a science experiment. She's pouring some type of pink liquid into a bowl and the pink liquid is splashing.
1. I chose this photo because the photographer captured the pink liquid splashing at the perfect time which makes the photo very interesting.
2. The rules of photography evident in this photo are lines and avoiding mergers. There are leading lines of some of the pink liquid dripping down the sides of the bowl which lead to the splashing of the liquid. The photographer also made sure that there wasn't any distracting things in the background.
1. I think that I can take photos like the ones I saw today by going into different classrooms where students are working hard or doing something interesting.
2. I would like to go into science classrooms because unusual experiments are being conducted.
3. As a photographer, I can take amazing photos like the ones I saw today by following the rules of photography and trying different things. Positioning the camera and trying different angles are examples of things I can do.
